A code assigned by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to identify the specific kind of research grant, contract, training, or fellowship (e.g., P01, Program Project Grant; N01, Research and Development Contract; K08, Clinical Investigator Award).
Projects in CRP are classified as one of the following general types:
CRP provides information on both active and historical projects. Currently Active projects (the default view) include all NCI supported research that is ongoing. Historical projects are provided for each Fiscal Year. The NCI fiscal year begins October 1 and ends September 30 (for example, FY 2004 began on October 1, 2003 and ran through September 30, 2004).
The university or organization receiving the grant. Note that the names of institutions are listed as they were entered on the grant application--a particular institution might be included several times with different spelling and abbreviations.
The primary investigator conducting the project. Note that the investigator's name is as entered on the grant application or as provided by the intramural division--spelling or abbreviations may change from year to year.
The program director representing the NCI division supporting the project.
The NCI Division or Office supporting the project.
The NCI Division, Office or Program providing the research resource.
